Conflict Resolution
Conflict Resolution Majority Rule Everyone in the team votes but the majority takes the votes and causes resentment in the team members. a) Problems arising from Majority Rule:- 1) Majority rule does not reflect the strength of individual preferences The vote of a person who feels strongly about an issue counts only as much as a vote of a person who is virtually indifferent. 2) Majority rule does not promote creative tradeoffs among issues When teams discuss only one issue at a time and vote on outcomes under consideration, this result in less profitable outcomes than when teams discuss issues simultaneously and seek consensus.
