Seven Deadly Sins
This movie is about a disturbing look at the plots of a particularly nasty serial killer. The film winds itself throughout an unknown city. It’s a dark, gritty, and rainy set. It makes one wonders about the stability of the creative minds who designed the look, and the feel of this film. The plot itself is nominal, and at times makes little sense, but oddly enough, this is not important to this film. The overall mood, the "ambiance" of the film is what really counts here. Finely expressed characterization, moody soundtrack, and oppressiveness, this film will not let anyone get bored. Kevin Spacey's character systematically kidnaps and sadistically murders his victims, more specifically "the seven deadly sins". (Gluttony, Pride, Greed, Sloth, Lust, Envy, Wrath) The victims are dispatched by long, tortuous methods, and when each is finally discovered, little is left to the imagination.
