Critical Analysis
Based on the data presented in this article, I believe that the studies are correct, African-American students are too prevalent in special education. ... I also agree with the fact that better teacher training, more resources for special education, and a change in attitude would alleviate many of the problems with placing the wrong students, especially African-Americans, in special education.
