I contacted XM through their web site in an attempt to find out about summer internships, and figured I would kill two birds with one stone. I spoke with one Jennifer Markham, who was listed on the site as their main contact. I asked how this new technology would affect Radio as we know it? ... It may in fact take sometime for people to get used to the idea of paying for radio. ... Maybe there will be a move for “premium” radio channels, ones that are uncensored and free of commercials. Time will only tell, but I think that satellite radio may definitely be a good investment in the long run (wink).
