FIFRA
Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act FIFRA, the Federal Insecticide Fungicide and Rodenticide Act was amended in 1972 by the Federal Environmental Pesticide Control Act (FEPCA). In the current form, FIFRA’s primary focus is to provide federal control of pesticide distribution, sale ,and use. The EPA was given authority under FIFRA to study the consequences of pesticide usage and to require users to register when purchasing pesticides.
