Fossil Fuels and its effects
Fossil Fuels Although the recent introduction of petrochemicals into this world may have opened up new ideas and possibilities, the truth is that the usage of petrochemicals is very miniscule compared to the hydrocarbons consumed each year as fossil fuels. The mere fact that 95% of the petroleum extracted from the earth is used as fuels and lubricants for vehicles, is a warning sign that our dependence on such harmful and un-renewable sources is very dangerous to our existence. In addition to facing the problem of being too dependant on the usage of fossil fuels, we are also in need of alternative methods of replacing such products. One of the obvious factors to look at when observing the use of fossil fuels in this world is its power generation.
