"We've degraded Saddam Hussein's ability to deliver chemical and biological weapons," he said. "We've diminished his ability to wage war against his neighbors." - Linda D. Kearny, American Forces Press Service Four years ago, December 18, 1998, a task force consisting of the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Marines and the British Air Force launched decisive attacks on key military targets within Iraq. During the 70-hour operation more than 650 combat sorties were flown and over 325 Tomahawk missiles launched in an effort to destroy the weapon of mass destruction manufacturing ability of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s. However, despite the effort of thousands of brave men and women that night and the success of Operation Desert Fox, we face today a graver situation then we have ever faced before. Over the past few weeks the question plaguing American policy makers and the nation in general is; Should America engage in a military action aimed at the removal and destruction of the current Iraqi regime dedicated to the secret development of weapons of mass destruction?
