Philidelphia

Sometimes one must go through social discrimination and hardships to pursue their dreams. In the movie “Philadelphia”, Andrew Beckett contracts the HIV virus and is near death. He has to cope with wrongful attitudes, many challenges and discrimination and in the end becomes a stronger person by doing so. In life, people must deal with different attitudes daily. Whether it be a kind, encouraging one or a cold, mean one, they are there. Andrew Beckett knows the harsh reality of this. His family wants to help him all that they can and will be by his side until the end. While his employers and co-workers want to get rid of him because of his illness. These are two very different attitudes and even though Andrew was dealing with his disease he had to tend to unwanted attitudes.
