According to Freud when an individuals form a group all their bad habits and cruel intentions die away in order to find free gratification. Thus, they acquire a sense of morality. I will explain several ways of how an individual acquires a sense of morality while he/she is in a group. First, in a group the individual is exposed to his abilities that previously have been unknown. Le Bon said, “In a group an individual is brought under conditions which allow him to throw off the repressions of his unconscious instinctual impulses” (9).
