I have chosen to write my essay on a moment that put a lasting impression on me; a moment that I knew from that day forward I was going to be a musician or do something music related. That moment took place in August 1992, in New York City, when Nirvana took the stage for their unplugged performance on MTV. I have always been a Nirvana fan, but I never saw a live performance of a band on stage playing instruments and singing to the audience.
