Professor Barbie Usually when I call my four-year-old sister on the phone she recaps to me the games she participated in during her day at school. In the animated tone that only children have, my sister tells me who she chased, or was chased by, who was good, and who was evil. One day she told me how she played a game she called “Spy Kids”. After further explaining to me how exactly one plays “Spy Kids”, I began to realize she was acting out the movie currently in the theaters with the same name, which confused me. My mother had deemed the movie too violent for my sister, Martine, and, yet, here she was recounting to me exactly how a child plays this “game”. With no thought to it, my sister had stopped conjuring up games of her own in order to play exactly how some movie had told her she was to amuse herself.
