Moral and Social Responsibilities

In the book “The Plague” the author Albert Camus shows the prominent idea of social and moral responsibility of people when dealing with an epidemic. ... Bernard Rieux and Jean Tarrou have different circumstances during the time of the epidemic and both represent what my concept of social and moral responsibility would be in the same situation. They both have the moral response with helping people during a difficult time and doing whatever they can to improve the situation. ... The social and moral responsibility of Rieux was to be there for people and share with others the things they had in common with each other, which was love, exile, and suffering. ... Their social and moral responsibilities in the situation of plague were staying positive and putting other people before their own, which is the exact way I would want to deal with the situation.
