ODDYSSEY PAPER The odyssey is tale written by Homer. It is a story of a man called Odysseus who is on a journey home from the Trojan War in Troy. Odysseus shows many attributes on his journey home such as: strength, courage, and many character flaws. Odysseus shows much strength on his journey home from Troy. For example Odysseus shows strength when he holds on to the tree branch for 4 hours waiting for Charybdis to spit up the lumber from his boat. This shows that Odysseus had great physical strength to hold on to a branch for so long. Odysseus knew that he had to use his physical strength or he would have perished and not be able to reach Ithica to see his wife Penelope.
