Response of New York City

I saw people banding together, galvanized by the attack on their city to rise up and fight back. The people of New York City are heroes because they chose not to be beaten. ...

At this point, the people of the city of New York could have chosen to retreat or hide from the world, but they didn’t. They could have gone into a comatose state, and even now be returning to being a functioning city.
