Work experiences
In the fall 1989, I stared at the classified section of the local newspaper looking for a new opportunity and job. I heard about a company coming into the Wausau area called Buy. Even though I was unfamiliar with this company, I had unique feeling that made the decision to apply an easy one. After several days and interviews, my jobs were going to change; and, unaware at the time, so was my life. On September 29, 1989, I was hired at Buy Company. My first job assignment was to help set up and construct store displays in preparation of grand opening day. Days went by and turned into weeks, and the big day finally arrived. After a very busy grand opening and holiday season, I decided to see what else I could offer the company.
