Reign
The superior man is modest in his speech but exceeds in his actions. Confucius was one of the most profound philosophers in Chinese history. He was the founder of Confucianism as well as one of the most influential men in china. He founded a whole way of life in the country. He showed people that they must treat people with respect and treat their elders like humans not like animals. One of his many sayings is “The superior man is modest in his speech but exceeds in his actions.” I believe this is very true. I think it means that a truly modest man would not talk about himself much but he still acts kindly, modestly, and without thoughts of payment and or retribution. If every one were to act like this it would make this world a better place.
