Well martians, our quarter in Chinese Literature is over as is the school year. I was informed that you guys were considering blowing up our planet if you didn’t learn a little bit about Chinese Literature. ... We have studied several Chinese works that were written by great people however, so I might be able to help you out. ... So sit back in your spaceship and let me tell you about some of the different elements of Chinese Literature. ... History and Tradition Just as we connect with the past through what we consider ancient literature so did the men and women of the past. A recurring theme in the literature we have discussed in class is the past connecting with the past. ... He discusses connecting future generations with generations of old through literature. ... The three major ones discussed in Chinese Literature are Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism. ... Anyway, Taoism is described in much the same way as the force is described. ... Being from such a harsh planet like Mars, you may not understand why people enjoy nature so much but we have a beautiful planet and the ancient Chinese especially appreciated it. ...
