The two attached documents contain the American Airlines response to the Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) for establishment of a new FAR Part 60. Comments on specific areas of the NPRM are shaded and contained in text boxes. Obvious errors in in the numbering, spelling, or formatting of the document are highlighted throughout the documents in yellow. General Comments: 1. Part 60 as preposed in the NPRM is unacceptable to American Airlines.
