Nickeled and Dimed
After reading the section from Nickel and Dimed: On Not Getting by in America, it got me thinking. I have worked many jobs since I was been sixteen years old. I never worked for Wal-Mart, or I never flipped burgers. I have worked in restaurants, and I have also worked in theme parks. With both of these jobs, I did very well. I don’t think it is so much the job, but the location where the person lives determines what someone will make. When I was living in Charlotte, NC, I work for a theme park, and then I worked in a restaurant.
