“My Life According to Erikson”
Theorist Erik Erikson contended that each stage of life has its own psychosocial task
and crisis that needs resolution. ... Erikson said an adolescent’s task is to put past, present, and
future possibilities into a clearer sense of self. Erikson’s interest were made by his own
life experiences.
If I were to think over the period involving the first twelve to eighteen months of my
