Once upon a time there was a famous scientist called David Linton. ... One day he was digging some ice up and he found a hat, so he put it on and disappeared. He shouted “I’ve discovered magic! ... ” And they answered ‘we heard someone calling I’ve discovered magic. ... ” I found a hat and was calling to let everyone know. I thought we could do a magic show and earn some money. Look here in the magic book, it says to do a magic trick that makes you disappear. ... You could find a magic wand and wave it. ... The next day he found some material to make a sign for his magic show. ... He got a lot of money for it and so he paid for his hat to be cleaned so there would be no stain to be seen. ... The clean was wonderful for his type because he just saw a trick that said to change from one thing that you always wanted and it will not happen again if you just get the magic hat clean and put it on. ...
Chapter two
The Magic the Hat is making
When the Linton family were together again they were all very amazed at what the little hat could do. ... The magic hat was magic though, but only David knew about it. ... He then decided to get the magic hat and make it turn into a motorbike that could turn into a house that could turn into a plane that could turn into a boat that could turn into a swimming pool. ... They felt really frightened that another sea creature might really hurt the animal that saved them but then it just disappeared then it came to them and turned into the magic hat then they realised that it decided to try and help them and it worked. ... He was about to do a magic performance and then just get into the paper because of that which was pretty much the easiest thing for him. ... You see the magic hat was a normal person until one day he had a spell on him from a giant and they wanted it to be his slave. He escaped though because he once was calling and a horse heard his calls and ran to the top of this mountain and let the hat sleep in it’s cave it had made. One day the hat decided it could look after it self and that’s how it came to be in the snow here. ... Meanwhile back at the Arctic, David Linton was trying to work out the spell that the giant had put on the hat. The magic hat soon became a man again but it could still put the spell on himself again if he decided that he was in so much trouble that he had to change into something to fix the problem. ... The magic hat was clever enough to do it really quickly so it had time to change into a plane that lifted him up over the wave. ... The next day the magic hat went back to the Arctic because he was a bit homesick. ...
He found a special thing that would make sure no one got into the magic hat’s house. ... He decided to use his magic powers to get some chicken, pasta and a little bit of meat. ... Then he remembered that he was magic. ... When he discovered that they had deleted all his files and printed he cried so hard that he got mad and ran to them with magic and killed them. ... Then when he sunk he made a magic spell so the police couldn’t see. ... The next day the magic hat saw them. He didn’t want to have no policeman so he used some of his magic to bring the police back to life. ... Then the magic hat had a walk down town and found a hat. ... Suddenly it slipped off and hit the magic hat in the face. ... Then the magic hats cousin had to go. The magic hat gave his cousin the ball and they both disappeared. The magic hat went into his house and lay down on his bed. That night he couldn’t sleep and he decided to read a book. He wasn’t a very good reader and so he stayed up all night reading the book. ... He walked all the way to the beach and then he decided to have a swim so he used some magic and got his swimming costume. ... He used some magic to fix the problem and then appeared in a huge navy ship. ... When I’d done that I read this cricket book.
