Is Psychology a Science? Is psychology a science? Well, first, you must identify what a science is. Science are activities applied to an object of inquiry or study*. Another definition for science is the observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena*. If these are adequate descriptions for what defines a science, than I believe that psychology, indeed, is a form of science. Psychology is a social science, however, it relates to natural sciences as well. There are several social sciences including; history, anthropology, economics, political science, and sociology.
