STP3130 Essay “Santa Evita” Nov.13 2002 Evita and the power of a “Woman” To have goals is to see a future, to have a future is to accomplish goals…Eva Maria Ibarguren was born on may 7 of 1919 at Los Toldos, Argentina. Eva mostly known by people as “Evita”, was a young lady with a single goal that no matter what; she was going to accomplish it. In Evita’s past, is hard to separate the truth from her goals. There are rumors that Evita had to sleep with many men to get power in the government, to get a decent job and to help her husband when he was once kidnapped by the government. ... Before Evita’s death, she would help the poor with shelter and food and some would even say that by her touch they would get rid of any disease. Even when Evita was married to Peron her interest was to help the poor, but when any of her workers mention anything she disliked she would fire them. With this evidence we can tell that Evita was just trying to accomplish her goal, “to be remembered”.
