Gabrielle Martin And His Role In Being A True Patriot
Sometimes someone's everyday actions are what makes him or her who or what they are. When one is a patriot they show characteristics of love of and devotion to one's county. A real patriot is courageous, loyal, and heroic. They often show good leadership and have conveyed improvements and significant adjustments for their country. The movie The Patriot has quite a few characters that someone may call a patriot. In my opinion, I think the real patriot of the movie is Gabrielle Martin.
Gabrielle Martin is a good-looking, well-known actor. When one looks at him, they often look at him as a "good guy." This could be one of the reasons that he is portrayed as being patriotic. I imagine that Heath Ledger was cast for the role of Gabrielle partly because he portrays this image, so he resembles what a good patriot might "look like." In fact, he picked up the flag and for the duration of the movie, one can see Gabrielle just keep on trying to mend and restore the American flag. The flag plays a very patriotic and symbolic act. It seems to symbolize that he is in the war for his country and nothing else, it shows a lot of pride.
Gabrielle and Anne have a very good relationship. Although,...
