Ways of Learning Ever since I was a little girl I have always dreamed of becoming a nurse, doctor or in some sort of profession were I could make an impact. ... When I began to grow up there wasn’t really any opportunities in middle school to get started in learning about ways to help people. I wanted to be able to do hands on learning rather then reading a book and learning about it. I was excited to Start High School for the simple fact that I knew there had to be some sort of hands on learning. ... The classroom really helped me to get interested in learning a lot of information that I could actually use and practice to become better and to actually find out if I was retaining the stuff that I had learned.
