Teachers have always been knowledge managers but we haven’t organized and shared our collective knowledge to meet our performance support needs like businesses have. A tremendous amount of resources are being put into Knowledge Management by business organizations: new hardware, personnel dedicated to gathering and organizing knowledge, new software in the form of group-ware, not to mention managerial time being put into the process.
