... In the play Medea, the level of these climatic situations are somewhat extreme yet very interesting and entertaining. ... Medea’s character in the play is very problem- stricken and often finds herself doing evil things to others in order to benefit herself and Justin. It is clear that Euripides is portraying Medea as the epitome of the vengeful and evil essence of Woman. It is undeniable that Medea was done wrong by her husband, or should I say ex-husband, but that does not excuse the evil things she did to everyone throughout the play. ...
