#3. Discuss the ways in which the literary work reflects attitudes about women. Different People Have Different Views In the poem "The Changeling" by Judith Ortiz Cofer, the author expresses two different views of a young girl who likes to be a "tom boy". Through different views of a daughter, one from the mother and the other from the father we as readers get to experience some of the different attitudes about women. Women are viewed differently by all people. We all have our own views on the way that a woman "should" be.
