All history becomes subjective, in other words there is properly no history, only biography-Ralph Waldo Emerson Two weekends ago, when the weather was still warm enough to wear a short sleeve shirt without shivering, me and my Mom decided to visit the Arabia Steamboat Museum around 4 oclock in the afternoon. ... The museum was based on the findings in 1987 of the abandoned Arabia steamboat which in 1856 sank to the bottom of the Missouri River due to a "snag" which pierced the hull of the steamboat. ... I even made for myself a pressed penny in the shape of the steamboat for fifty cents. ... The only actual facts of the story of the steamboat was the date of when it sunk, the location of where it was found, and the amounts of items found. ... The Steamboat of Arabia is sailing the fine line of history and past compared to a source of entertainment, without much truth. ... But what it began to seem to me was it wasnt to just inform the public about the history of the steamboat but also for a major way to make money.
