Marjetica Potrc
Marjetica Potrc is an artist that creates works that explore global realities of shelter, poverty, and displacements. Many of her works are inspired by shantytowns, favelas which is a settlement of jerry built shacks lying on the outskirts of a Brazilian city, also other improvised cities and as hoc dwellings around the world. Her central works are based on people living in the most impoverished and undeveloped part of the world. Her works focused on the reality of people that lives in areas that are poor. Though many people see this as a problem she takes this situation and see another angle to it.
