Pro Legalization of Marijuana

Marijuana has had a long history through out the world, in fact it dates back several thousands of years. The debate on whether or not marijuana should become a legal substance in the United Stated is an issue that has compelling arguments for both sides. Right now, it is estimated that over 4 million Americans have tried marijuana at some point in their lives, and many people believe that that number is much higher than that. Everyone knows that smoking marijuana is not good for the body, but neither is consuming alcohol or smoking cigarettes yet they remain legal drugs in the U. ... There are some very compelling ideas presented to us that legalizing marijuana would make sense. Some of these arguments are eliminating money going to drug dealers who are selling marijuana, create jail space, the economical gains, uses of hemp, and the biggest reason for legalizing marijuana is for the medical benefits that it presents to patients.
