Junk Hello boys and girls, today I am going to discuss with you a personal pet peeve of mine- the "lol" abbreviation. In case you didn't know, "lol" is short for LAUGH OUT LOUD. However, a lot of you seem to not understand this concept. In fact, 99.99% of the time you people seem to believe that this abbreviation can be used in almost every context. Here is an example: Idiot: hi, how r u? Me: I'm ok, just sitting here eating lunch Idiot: LOL As insane as that may seem, I find myself in this type of conversation almost daily.
