Few things arouse stronger sentiments in us than the sense of patriotism for one’s country. The feeling of euphoria when one speaks about his country cannot be described. It provides a motivation to work for the overall betterment of the country. The country as a whole would stand a better chance of competing with the best in the world if its citizens have a sense of reverence towards it. Knowing a country’s rich cultural heritage gives people a sense of confidence as to who they are.
