In the novel Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austin, the author’s main focus was on the pride of one character and the prejudice of another. Both the pride of Darcy and the prejudice of Elizabeth Bennet affect all of the characters in the novel in one way or another. Darcy’s pride often offends many characters, such as Elizabeth and her family.
