Organizational Culture Inventory The Organizational Culture Inventory (OCI) was used as the means to gauge the cultural map for our organization. A company recognized worldwide for organizational development, Human Synergistics International, developed the OCI. The organizational culture for Southwest was modeled by dividing MBA candidates into two teams answering identical questions. One team answered the questions reflecting their beliefs of the current culture at Southwest. The other team completed the survey based on their beliefs of the ideal culture at Southwest. Additional input on the current culture at Southwest was solicited from a small number of flight attendants. ... Data Analysis The survey results from the MBA candidates in the current culture model group shows the MBA students believed that the existing culture at Southwest exhibited the core values of humor, altruism and love.
