PEACOCK BASS FISHING SAFARI
The Casiquiare watershed is considered to be one of the world's greatest Peacock Bass fisheries. There is no doubt that it produces larger IGFA recognized world record peacock bass than any river system in the world. This 10 day Safari gives the angler 6 full days of remote area fishing in search for one of the world's most exciting trophies.
Your vacation begins when you leave the aircraft in Venezuela. Our representative will meet and escort you to the 5 star Hotel Caracas Hilton. The following morning you will be driven to the privately owned Aeropuerto de Caracas for a 4 hour charter flight to San Carlos, a village in the Amazonas Territory of Venezuela. Our host will meet and escort you to the boat landing where you will enjoy a scenic 3 hour drive to camp on the Pasimoni River. For the next six days you can fish to your hearts content. This is the area for trophy giant Peacock Bass and you'll have the chance to take advantage of all that this area affords.
We accept only up to a maximum of 6 anglers per week. This is a mobile tent camp. A mobile camp is the only way for us to adjust for changing water conditions, thus insuring that our anglers are in prime fishing waters at all times.
Each angler will be provided with a private tent set up prior to arrival, complete with an extra long cot, 12 volt lights and cooling fans for your comfort.
Our staff and chef strive to provide an excellent menu for your dining pleasure even in these rustic conditions. Facilities are basic with comfortable sleeping and sitting areas. Satellite communications, also available in camp, allows one to keep in touch with home or office for a nominal charge.
