My introduction to the Internet is one I cannot regret. The very surge of information that I expected to obtain from the Internet tripled when I actually became a user. At first the main purpose of buying a computer was mainly for education, using the Internet for research, then I proceeded to use the Internet as a personal playground, where I discovered a world I thought I knew so well. ... With the Internet, I was able to dig deeper on certain subjects, finding outlets that opened doors for research. ... Of course with advantages to the Internet, there always will be disadvantages. Even though the Internet has served me well over the past years, I can’t say I haven’t seen changes within myself from the constant use, since it offers so much information needed by not only me, but millions. Before using the Internet, I found I kept myself busy by actually interacting with real life. I have not abandoned this concept to Internet use, although I spend more and more of my time using the computer. The non-internet user that I was, was also a bit more innocent compared to now.
