I chose to write about Alexander the Great, not because I thought the research would be easy, but because of how interesting it would be to do a project coving him and his life. ... My searches brought up a distinct amount of information on Alexander the Great, with clear and understand writing by the author. Online, I found one very good source, with happened to be a website strictly devoted to the man, Alexander the Great. ... Their website had very great in-depth details about Alex’s life as well as his trials and tribulations. ... In the preceding paragraphs, the authors wrote about how Alexander the Great had came to be so powerful, and such an enormous force throughout the Greek cities and states. ... ” These authors go into vast details about Alexander the Great in each section. For example, one author, although unclear who, claims that the cause of Alexander’s death was because a “long night with immense drinking of fine wine. ... They did a great job examining Alex’s life, from beginning to end. ... The name of the book was Alexander the Great: The Invisible Enemy. O’Brien’s book was very ready to lend a hand to someone who wasn’t quite sure about all the facts on Alexander the Great. ... “Alexander the Great was a man of many sides, some of those never even shown.” O’Brien’s book was different then any other sources because he covered the sides of Alexander that no one really touched base on. Sides not normally shown about Alexander, such as his love for all the little things, such as nature and the family life. He also states that Alexander had always wanted to raise a son to follow in his footsteps, to become the next great leader, like his father.
