My Reaction to a Modest Proposal
After reading Swift’s essay “A Modest Proposal” I have concluded that human flesh may not be a bad meal if seasoned correctly. The latter illustrates the style of writing, Irony, in which Swift is attempting to get his point across to the reader through sarcasm or unbelievable circumstances. Swift lets the reader know right in the beginning where his essay is directed.
