As You Like It
This is the play critique of As You Like It. It is a romantic comedy wrote by a well-known author, William Shakespeare. It was performed by the team of OSU students on august 07th at Withncombe Hall Theatre, OSU. This paper is introducing the analysis of the important elements in the play including author, play write, stage setting, actors and additional comments. The play and stage setting were arranged as an original period, 1500s. There were two major sets of stage, a town and a forest of Arden. The stage had two levels with entrances on each side and an additional center entrance on the lower level. It showed that the palace in the town was made by stones and had a wooden balcony on the second floor. Looking at the other setting, forest of Arden, good lighting really created a fine picture of rich forest, which had variety of vegetations.
