Culminating Essay
The service learning project I participated in, was to help out at Mariposa Elementary School in anything they needed help with. ... This project had an impact because many of the older ladies working there were in charge of seperating and delivering numerous books, and they really did not want to, so it was a big help for them, and I completed it in a short amount of time which to them was incredible. I do view the community different after my service, because I did not realize how much effort the people put into that school, I kinda thought they were lazy at first. What I learned through my service to the community was that teaching little kids is hard work.
