Stand By Me Stand by Me is a very touching movie about four boys wanting to be heroes in society’s eyes. They set out on a two-day voyage to discover a missing body but it turns out to be much more than that. The Voyage is of self-discovery, friendship and growing up. The boys are faced with many difficult dilemmas’ weather it be psychological or visual they had each other to look for and to guide. Chris represents me at that age in my life. We certainly have many things in common. If these circumstances happened to me at this age I would have done a lot of things just as Chris had. During my early adolescents I was the one who listened to friends problems and always looked out for them. Trying to find the right thing to say when needed was tough but it always rolled right out of my mouth as if it was planned.
