In the movie “What’s eating Gilbert Grape”, there is a family that is stuck in the small town of Endora. We have the shrinking Gilbert Grape who is plays as the father like of the family. Momma who was once apparently very beautiful but now hasn’t left the house for seven years to due to her obesity. This could be the reason why the family is stuck in a ghost like town. Arnie Grape who is the mentally challenged 18 years old and is cared by Gilbert. Betty is the one that plays as a mother-like and cooks & cleans for the family.
