Man and Machine

Man and Machine The filmmaker is expressing his/her view as a mechanist. I say this because the mechanist believes that people are not very different from machines, except for the facts that machines are made from wires, whereas people are made of flesh and blood. Machines also can’t perform human functions. Excluding these things people and machines are the same according to the mechanist. The filmmaker made the robot “Andrew” very similar to humans. He had many human characteristics like feeling bad about breaking the little girl’s horse. He knew that he had to do something to make her feel better. That is something that a human would do.
