Should Lawyers Help Enforce "Natural" Law? 1) The three branches that Mr Watson posited are: i) physical laws - law of gravity or thermodynamics, they are self enforcing and dont need lawyers ii) ecological law - all forms of life are interdependent; the stability of ecosystems is dependent upon diversity; all resources are finite and there are limits to the growth of all living things iii) ethics - evolved set of code within species that controls the behaviour for the benefit of species survival.
