I want and need to move forward, and I have understand that communication in all its different ways is the key to my Communication scholars are often interested in the ways in which communication takes place within an organization. According to Papa in Perspectives on Organizational Communication, "the concept of communication structure is one of the most important ideas in the study of organizational communication". Papa goes on to discuss the two different ways communication structure is defined. Organizational communication is described as either formal or informal communication. While at my internship I have experienced both forms of organizational communication. In Perspectives on Organizational Communication Papa defines formal communication as communication through officially designated channels of message flow between organizational positions.
