Scarlet Letter - the unspoken difference
Identity is defined as a set of characterisitcs by which an individual is recognizable. Throughout one's life and growing up, a person develops a persona of their own. Often if can be found that the individual lives behind a facade, or suppresses that persona in order to make others feel more comfortable with them.
