After purchasing his overshoes, “Walter Mitty began to wonder what the other thing was his wife had told him to get. ... Mitty she told him or reminded him not to forget his overshoes he was supposed to purchase while he was in town. Walter Mitty’s reaction was “I don’t need overshoes,” (line 88) but eventually, he gave in and got them anyway. ...
