Parisian Life is originally as known as "Intera de un Café/ Interior of a Cafe". Through the painting, it shows how a typical café look like during the time that Juan Luna is in Paris. In here, it portrays a woman in period clothes seated awkwardly on a plush sofa, the window behind her showing a slice of Paris circa 1892. In addition, there are three gentlemen, which were said to be Filipino patriots (Rizal seated half-faced on the left, Juan Luna on the middle, and Dr. Bautista on the right) in a huddle at another table on the upper left corner. In addition, there is a newspaper behind the woman, which possibly symbolism the helped it gave to the revolution.
