Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death
Patrick Henry is considered the most powerful orator of the American Revolution. One of the reasons Patrick Henry’s speeches were so powerful was the way he answered possible objections to his arguments in his speeches. In the first paragraph Patrick Henry asks the audience, “Should I keep back my opinions at such a time?” He answers this objection by saying that he would consider himself guilty of “treason towards my country”.
